A custom trip through Rome, Puglia, Matera, and the southern coast, designed for two travelers who wanted history, food, beautiful towns, and enough flexibility to enjoy each place without rushing. We arranged the route, hotels, local experiences, transfers, and day-by-day support so they could simply enjoy the trip together.

A private journey for a group of women who wanted a rich cultural experience filled with markets, desert landscapes, local cuisine, traditional crafts, and meaningful time together. Yes. Many of our private trips begin with one of our scheduled Women Travel Tribe itineraries. If there's a tour you love, we can often turn it into a private journey for your own group, adjusting the dates, pace, accommodations, activities, or length as needed. We can also design something completely custom if you have a different destination or experience in mind.
Most private trips work best with 2–16 travelers, although this can vary by destination and trip style. We can also arrange private journeys for solo travelers, couples, families, and larger groups when the itinerary and logistics allow. If you're not sure whether your group size will work, simply reach out and we'll let you know what's possible.
Yes. While Women Travel Tribe primarily creates trips for women 50+, private tours can include spouses, partners, family members, friends, and mixed groups. The most important thing is that the group appreciates our style of travel: thoughtful planning, comfortable pacing, meaningful local experiences, and a warm, respectful group atmosphere.
Absolutely. We can create private trips for women's groups, book clubs, craft and textile guilds, alumni groups, community organizations, nonprofit groups, social clubs, walking groups, photography groups, and many other types of communities. We'll work with the group leader or main contact to shape the trip, then help with the planning, logistics, pricing, guest communication, and travel details so the experience feels smooth from the beginning.
The earlier the better, especially for groups. For most private trips, we recommend starting the planning process at least 8–12 months in advance. For larger groups, popular destinations, special events, or peak travel seasons, 12–18 months is ideal. That said, shorter-notice trips may still be possible depending on the destination, group size, and availability.
In many cases, yes. If it makes sense for your group, we can collect payments from each traveler individually instead of requiring one person to manage all payments. This can be especially helpful for clubs, organizations, friend groups, and community trips. With that said, we are able to accommodate any kind of payment collection setup. After speaking with you, we can confirm the best payment structure once we understand your group and itinerary.
Of course! You do not need to know exactly where you want to go before contacting us. If you share your group size, interests, preferred travel season, budget range, activity level, and overall travel style, we can suggest destinations that would be a strong fit. We'll help you narrow down the options and choose a destination that makes sense for your group.
Pricing depends on the destination, group size, trip length, accommodations, transportation, included meals, activities, guides, and overall level of customization. Once we understand what you're looking for, we can provide realistic pricing guidance and help shape the trip around your budget.
International flights are not usually included. Most travelers book their own flights so they can choose the schedule, airline, route, and fare that works best for them. We will provide clear arrival and departure information so everyone knows when and where to arrive. Domestic flights within the destination may be included when they are part of the itinerary.
It depends on the destination, group size, and style of trip. Some private trips include a dedicated tour leader for the full journey. Others include local guides, drivers, hosts, or on-the-ground support at key points throughout the itinerary. We'll recommend the best structure based on the needs of your group. Either way, your trip will be carefully organized and you'll have complete support in place while traveling.
